Thanks for the notes and for watching today...MADE IT! Wasn't in the same shape I was last year, so it was a much tougher race...my left leg was painful enough at mile 35 that I had to walk most of the way from 35 to 45...saw lots of buffalo this time...missed one by about 2 minutes that ended up chasing a guy right behind me...poor guy, musta scared the bejeezus right out of him...
Having a great time with Denise, AND she did an awesome crew job...had all kinds of goodies ready at the end of the race:)
Off to the awards dinner now, very excited to go, I had to miss it last year. Denise and I met another really fun couple, Grif (who did the race) and his wife Stephanie...so we'll head to the awards dinner with them, should be fun.
