A Sunday Bike Ride & Three Websites to Share Workouts

If you have a smartphone for your workouts then you have an incredible list of fun phone apps and websites to track your rides or runs.  And if you haven't picked up that iPhone or Android phone or Windows phone then here's a little of what you can do to make all those workouts more fun.

This iPhone photo captured a quick drink stop in Dana Point, CA on Sunday's 53 mile ride.  The day was so beautiful and the beach was looking so good that a quick break was mandatory to grab this shot of the surf.

The GPS track for the day covered a bike ride from Aliso Viejo to San Clemente, with some easier riding while drafting among the group from A Road Bike 4U out of Irvine.  Thanks to Martin, Sydney and the group for letting me tag along for a while:)

Here's the bike ride GPS track on three websites with links to the phone apps you should try:

The GPS track on Garmin Connect>>

Download the Garmin Fit phone app for iPhone and Android>>

The GPS track on Strava>>

The GPS track on Endomondo>>

The GPS track for the ride was captured on a Garmin 500 and an iPhone with the CycleMeter app.

Be sure to kick the sand out of your bike shoes after taking photos like this:
